Data Removal Request

If customers want to delete their data from FloatChat, they can send an email from their registered email address. Once FloatChat receives the request, they will delete all customer data within 14 business days.

Request for data deletion

To raise a request for data deletion, customers can send an email to info@floatchat.ai with the subject line as ‘ FloatChat – Data Erasure Request – ‘ from the registered email id. Once the request is raised, all customer data will be deleted within 14 working days of the receipt of request.

How long is data retained by systems?

At FloatChat, we only keep personal data as long as it’s necessary to achieve the goals for which it was obtained, in compliance with our duties under the law and legitimate business interests. Unless there is a request for faster deletion or an earlier agreement has been reached, all information gathered during the provision of our services will typically be deleted no later than three years following the end of our service provision and removed from general access within a few days. Clicking on a link to another website from FloatChat will take you away from our site. We do not control, review or take responsibility for the content on these external sites. Therefore, these external sites and any data that is gathered after leaving our site are not covered by our Privacy Policy.
We only share personally identifiable information with external parties after informing users. Website hosting partners and other helping parties that consent to maintain the information’s confidentiality are exempt from our policy.
